Can you believe it's already a new month? Crap, I still haven't written the jellybean's birthday letter. I hope I get that done before he turns five. That would really suck. But instead of doing that, I will happily answer the latest installment of the monthly interview with myself, hosted by Shan.
1. What was your wedding song?
Fly Me to The Moon. We originally wanted Tony Bennett's version, but considering my knee looked like this and all I could do was sort of sway back and forth, we decided Tony's version was too slow (I would have really looked like I was just standing there) and we went with Frank's. Which version do you like better?
2. If you could guess star on any TV show, which one would you pick?
Well, if we could go back in time, I would say Friends, off the top of my head. But then Bibliomama said Buffy, and I would have to got there. Angel, baby. I'm SO much better than the Bufster. But if it was present day, I think I will go with Modern Family. Or Grey's. Come on, would you give up the chance to ogle Patrick Demsey, in person? Did you see that smile when he was holding the adorable baby this past week? Seriously, how can a man be so gorgeous.
3. What's you favorite children's book?
The Monster at the End of This Book. And the hubby found it at a book sale at his school and picked it up because he knew it was my favorite. Now I get to pass that on to the jellybean. Love it!
4. Did you watch the Royal Wedding?
Actually I did. Well not in its entirety. I woke up at 5:30 and figured, heck I've got to pee, so I might as well get up. I turned on the TV when Price Charles was arriving. So I got to see the good stuff. After the vows I was showering and getting ready. I got to see them leave the Abby. Then when I got to work, I saw the kisses on the balcony. So basically I saw all the good parts.
5. What's your favorite thing to have off the barbeque?
Mmm, meat... There isn't much I don't like off the bbq. But I think I'd have to say a really good hamburger. Though they now come bunless for me, I still enjoy them.
So, how about you?

The Monster at the End of this Book was one of my favourite's when I was a kid so I bought it when I was pregnant with my first. I recently ran across Another at the End of This Book in a bargain bin. It's not as good, but it does have Elmo which appeals to the kids.
I would also pick Grey's, but I'm all about Dr. Owen Hunt, who I think is the most perfect manly man on television. I was shocked recently to find that many Grey's fans actually find him unattractive to the point of ugliness, to which I say, MORE FOR ME THEN. Yummy.
I would also have loved to have been on Buffy but Angel never was my type. Personally what would really float my boat would be to meet Joss Whedon. I doubt I am his type but just to stand next to the genius might make me faint :).
Grey's and Modern Family are excellent selections. And I'm with Lynn Dr. Owen Hunt is hawt, not McDreamy hot, but that's even better we could double date. What do you say Lynn? I loved the Monster at the End of this book. Oh my gosh, I had forgotten about it. I have to highly recommend you get Charlie's SuperHero Underpants. I think the JB would love it. We picked it up at the school book sale last year.
And thanks for keeping track of how many times we've done this. It always surprises me when I read the number.
must look for charlie's superhero underpants. i'm getting a little tired of spiderman and batman and superman. we need some shaking up here in our reading material.
I love that: heck I've got to pee, might as well get up...I'm still laughing, yet I'm impressed. I pee with my eyes closed so there's no way I could have made my way to the tv.
I didn't watch any of the royal wedding and still managed to see it over and over and over on everything TV for days afterwards.
Oh, I forgot about The Monster at the End of This Book. Love! Great wedding song. I think Hunt's hotter than McDreamy too - still bitter that they cancelled Journeyman.
